I don’t short, never use leverage (unless integrated in the investment vehicle by default) and don’t trade cfd’s.

I just punt and more than half of the time I make money which keeps the balance growing slowly. I have 3 long term positions in incredibly speculative turds but aside from that about 87% of my capital I recently deployed into AGVT, an incredibly low risk play at time of purchase imo.

I only say I have no idea what I’m talking about because I don’t want to let any success get to my head. I do not believe in having hubris and I think the arrogance of posters on hc is rife. Just keeping it real, which is why I’m happy to be in and out of a2m knowing my capital is safe again. I don’t care much for shorters pushing down the price- they give me opportunities and provide a balanced market. A2m is no exception and who knows where the price will be at end of year. Obviously I always hope people make money from their investments, but anyone with any inkling of what they are doing in the stock market would know how brutal this game can be. It’s taken me 8 years to get to where I am and I can finally say with confidence and conviction that I know more now than I ever have and I’m still learning. And that is currently paying off in a down market. Imo, anyone who can survive and be in a better position by the end of this year will be carved out of wood and plated with steel. And that makes a trained soldier in this stock market war.

like praying said- everyone has their own style and it should be respected and treated objectively. It is hard not to be an emotional moron though watching tens of thousands being made and lost. But the better we train ourselves to manage these emotions with realism, intellect, and humility, the better investment decisions we produce.
