Said he'd like to but there was no change to the program. Not as if the market jumped on the news anyway. IMO criticise him if he misses program, not because he is being enthusiastic. I agree he should dial it back, but have you lost money because of it ?

If finance includes a CR, the mechanics will be complex - and depends on if it is a rights issue or SPP. The legals alone would be convoluted. And if they do a placement (which they shouldn't imo) it involves third parties. Not to forget they doubtless have lots of people wanting offtake agreements.
