The latest sat pic of Duicon/Eagle underlines the issues you raise - count the holes!!
The drilling comprises extension holes testing the north, west and east, depth extensions from the south and 40m x 40m infill in the guts.
I don't think anyone should argue with the extension drilling because we still haven't found the limits to Hemi, and the infill is just a necessary evil to firm up the resource, to our benefit later with implementing the project.
This is an old sat pic, early holes at Brolga I believe, and you can see where the time and money is being spent:-
Hemi is vast (thankfully) so this will take time, and I have no doubt our patience will be rewarded.
