    This debate about debt reminds me of my Grand-farther who said Never a lender or borrower be.
    He was wrong on both accounts .
    I would borrow any amount that lenders would be willing to lend me. I would then buy appreciating assets and my choice is property.
    Now you Bears who predict that property prices will not rise or even fall 40%, thats up to you.
    My experience has shown me that with an LVR of less than 80% I can have the taxman and a tenant pay the holding costs and over time put money in my pocket while the value of the asset goes up.
    This is not a theory it is my reality and has been so over many years.
