Yeah fan of Rick too Slicer. That is some wisdom isnt it. I totally agree and have changed my some of my investment strategy to include guys on their way to mining. I still like the risky end of town, however. There is the chance to ride it all the way up. You do have to sift through the chaff to find the value. I think if things deteriorate further then it will be as Mr Buffet famously quoted, When the tide goes out we will see who is swimming naked. With that in mind I am trying to find explorer stocks that are backed well, have substantial funds to go further and/or have something worth chasing.

As you know the past few years there has been a lot of financial liquidity which has made exploring relatively easy. I think going further, if rates keep going up, then perhaps there is going to be a drying out. Leaving a lot of companies out in the cold. So having a significant investor in a company seems like a safer option. If you have been watching Rick lately then you will know he has been pushing to go into safer big mining stocks....While on the other side investing in Russian companies.....So go figure that risk curve out and irony. Watch what they do not what they say. Some interesting times ahead for markets and companies alike and where they are going for sure.

On the other side then there are the supposed supply deficits. Its a balance of what's going to happen today vs What will make a bucket load in 5 to 10yrs time and keep on giving. A real balancing act. Going to check out GAL...good luck there if you have invested well.
