oh well, I suppose I could become a taxi driver,,, etc or get a "real" job..... instead of treating my property investments as if it were a lottery... however, I actually enjoy the way I earn my income....it was not always like a lottery...
Once I decided that I would go down the property investment road, after months of planning, and tossing figures around, I knew it would become a 'forced saving plan' for several years, before it turned up trumps....
In fact I sweated and slaved for a long time, but it was a choice I made, I was in control, I managed my investments.
One property I was after, I had to wait 5 years for it to come into the market...and boy, was it worth the wait...it has been my star performer.... looking after my properties is like a part time job....all those renos, extensions, repairs etc, haggling with all involved....its not all a bed of roses....but I do like the challenge anyway the govt stopped building public housing about the 1970's, so if it were not for the investors, the housing shortage would be worse.... I note NSW govt is running rough shod over home owners, in order to build more high rise housing, first time in 40 odd years..
