So what happens to all those rounded down (thousands total), of shares ?
Go to directors as a thank you ?

I remember when banks went onto computers.
A bank employee, who was smarter than most, skimmed off the point of one cent
from all the bank accounts held in bank, into his own bank account.

He thought he would collect a few thousand dollars at the most.
Turned out to be millions of dollars.
He had to confess to management of his actions.
