Yeah you are dead right ewere, the Maul has to be a front runner, we haven't heard one word about the demo to the Chiefs of Police last year not one word, that to me is strange because it is a brilliant weapon, and yes in the mix is the 3GL but the Firestorm is also one that has to be in contention.

The US has delayed the decision on either the Firestorm or the Venom weapon, that makes me think that metalstorm (Firestorm) are in the mix and more than likely the frontrunner, we will see many applications that have been sitting in the background come to the fore soon IMHO, they have been deliberately held back, one of them is the VLE, but the really big one is the mach 5/50, that is the money spinner.
