The stated opinions of the chattering classes notwithstanding, and given that I was not happy with my question as to be relevant to an AGM as opposed to being raised with management directly, as I should have done, and given that several of the other questions WERE raised in the CEO's address, nevertheless I fail to see where any ingratitude is involved. Gratitude for what? There is a world of difference between questions raised with management to answer or not as they please, and questions "to be raised at the AGM." In my view the process was flawed, and although I could have raised the question from the floor myself in this case, in other circumstances I might well have felt dudded by the way in which the questions were NOT raised at the AGM.
