The Company I am referring to reported 32 grab samples that averaged 50.0g/t Au (or 1.6 oz/t). Of these, 20 of the samples assayed in excess of one ounce of gold per tonne, with the highest assay being 259g/t Au (or 8.3oz/t). All within areas of extensive artisinal mining in the millions of ounces.
Yet they never made an economic discovery despite drilling multiple targets. The dilling returned some +ounce intersections but these were all narrow and did not hang together as a coherant system of mineralistion.
The way this has risen on the back of rock samples is reminiscint of the top of the boom pre GFC.
I hope for the sake of all holders they do find something, but I would not be counting my pennies until after they drill. Hopefully the noobs out there can see both sides despite some of the ramping that we will no doubt see on the BDR thread in coming days.
