V has many benefits over Li where grids and homes are concerned. At this point there's not a cost benefit
Benefits, no doubt. But there is definitely a cost benefit too. A VRFB lasts 20 years+ with almost no degradation over time. You would need to buy 3 larger lithium batteries over that sort of timescale to do the same job.
The problem is that bean counters aren't very good at recognising this.
