The shorts believe they can profit on an assumed falling price. I’m not sure what their motives are here but they seem convinced of their actions. You like the stock and have a plan. Not much more you can do really, other than have a plan to manage any losses or future purchases. Avoiding losses should be everyone’s priority in the share market. Remember 80% or so lose money in pursuit of the perfect ending in this seductive investment process.
