Remember that with CFE holding the lease on the key infrastructure, CFE was looking for Marampa to be 'swept up" in the Tonkolili sale process.
If you were going to buy a 5 billion tonne iron ore deposit, wouldn't you want to make sure you had the infrastructure sorted...? As TS knows, the economics of these bulk commodities are as much about the infrastructure as they are the geology.
So if the Chinese do buy Tonkolili, Marampa really has to go with it.
