What you call offense, I call constructive criticism.

I voiced my skepticism because I look at these 'commitments' like politician's promises.

It sounds good at the time because the trend is popular. The proof will be in the pudding when they follow through.

CEO's can say to their shareholders that they will commit to do 'this' by x date. Does not mean that they will still be CEO when the time comes to really commit to it.

If they do follow through, I'll be happy to eat humble pie and admit I was wrong. Might have to wait a while in most cases though...

Hopefully I've explained myself perspective enough for some understanding. If not, my bad I guess. I won't comment further as I've derailed this thread enough
