ASIC will appeal against its Federal Court loss in the Fortescue case, aiming to overturn what it sees as a potentially fatal blow to its powers to enforce continuous disclosure rules.
Final decisions are yet to be made, but there is simply no way ASIC can leave the decision unchallenged.
