Thanks for that information. As a recipient of a bio prosthetic cow valve, I'm well aware of the use of Warfarin, having been on it short term after surgery. Given the problems I had with labile INR levels (not uncommon), I was relieved to get off it and very thankful I'd not need to remain on it for life. Given that an Anteris valve is a man-made valve, what is the likelihood of patients being required to be on Warfarin for life compared to other bio prosthetic pig or cow valves, as this would be a factor in choice of selection of replacement?
