Your comments kind of fit though...if you consider "Galoc-1" as NDO's first well and the upcoming development wells as their second and third.

Like BAS's Moby field", NDO's "Galoc field" is sort of a known quantity, meaning that future wells are virtually guaranteed of success.

The original Galoc-1 was a vertical well, drilled on the outer edge of the Galoc structure. It suffered from formation damage, yet still flowed at 4,400 bbls/d.

So imagine what we can expect from future drilling!

Galoc's next wells will be more centrally located to the main accumulation, thanks to the PSDM processing kindly donated by UNOCAL. These will be horitontal wells, drilled underbalanced using hydrocarbon fluids to avoid formation damage and are expected to flow at rates up to 5500+ barrels per day...EACH!

Nido will have 22.2279% of this.
