This comparison between CBA and BOQ is ridiculous - sure the div yield on BOQ is better than CBA but since George took over BOQ in Sep 2019, BOQ share price has declined by about 20% while CBA has increased by almost 30%... I would rather have had a 30% return plus div than the pitiful share price I have now with BOQ, and this has been a horrible bank to hold for long term holders - in fact BOQ's share price is the worst performing bank share on almost any time frame (5 years, 10 years since inception etc). Granted I see BOQ as cheap now but I am still waiting for George to deliver a financial result that will rocket this past BEN (which BOQ has beaten before many times in the past).
Hoping George eventually pulls a rabbit out of the hat at some point that propels us past BEN.
