"attempts to document the "stolen" nature of the age have been made and none have stood up to legal scrutiny.". ......
firstly, as most in caring professions are aware, many individual reports will differ from the wider reports of the body of issues.
one example does not affect the overall picture of the majority.
secondly, it seems you're attempting to rewrite history in the light of a single experience.
lastly, the legal scrutiny has supported the facts wrt the stolen people. yes some would be successfully integrated into white culture as they feel they don't fit within the concept of First Nations people. I've known several who refused to identify as aboriginal due to the generally perceived 'welfare' mentality of First Nations dependence on Gov largesse.
much of the 'toxicity' blamed on First Nations people is similar to the toxicity of white Aussies. drug dependency, domestic abuse, child abuse, malfeasance and corruption all. occur in non-aboriginal homes too.
with First Nations under such intense scrutiny by gov officials there is solid data on crimes against others. I suggest if white families were under such scrutiny the numbers would be similar, but of course this can only be conjecture because no white family would allow such intense scrutiny.
