Thanks AussieWhales, it is a tough one indeed. Seems the more you make the more you pay out to the passive entities who carry no risk whatsoever.
I will be meeting my accountant in a few weeks to minimize tax when I exit my business, and profit on any ofmy share sales will be high on the agenda. Im not trying to shirk responsibility to my sons upbringing,in fact, the opposite as time has shown that I am FAR better at accumulating wealth for his future ( hes on the spectrum) than the ex.
Id be more than happy to be able to put profit from ANY share sales into a trust for my sons fiture if it meant that it wasnt taxed to breaking point and neither the ex nor I had access to it ‍♂️
