re: rights issue - mcneil's selling down I don't think the newly aquired 0.14 shares are going to hit the market so quickly.
Do the maths: I have no idea what the average holding is, but let's say it's a generous 100,000 shares. The rights shares were bought at 0.14, but only at a 1:8 ratio. So the average MMN investor bought 12,500.
Why would anyone then sell their 12,500 for a 0.015 c/share profit (less brokerage)? To make perhaps a lousy $150 profit, when the fundamentals for silver looks so good, and MMN have promised to start mining next year? Surely anyone who took up the rights offer would plan to hold them for 6-12 months, just to see what happens.
