All this talk about woke this and woke that despite the fact this is a businessman with serious financial backing and support behind him making a business play to take over AGL.
Obviously these people see the money and viability in moving away from coal which has long been a wasteful and cumbersome fuel source. the only reason rushing this may cause issues is that this country dragged its feet getting here for over 15 years and the last time we were close the then treasurer Frydenberg got the previous AGL CEO turfed for daring to upset the coal lobby.
But yeah, "woke greens" seems to be the favour of the month to rail about now.
