Here is one example of how unreliable solar panels are in extreme weather. Photo taken Valentine’s Day 2021 in Colorado. Snow rendered the panels useless, wind farms stopped operating as there was no wind and the only thing that kept electricity to peoples homes was the few remaining coal fire power stations.
Had the coal stations not existed, countless thousands of people would likely have died from exposure as well as medical related episodes.
