Hi Joannie, I did follow up last week but still have had no response to my application.
I note that the card is not available yet in Australia, however, I am travelling to Europe in a couple of weeks and thought I could test it out while over there.
I don't know how many times I have bought goods in Europe and gone to the effort to claim the VAT and never heard form anyone ever again. In fact I don't know any travellers that have ever got the VAT back in Europe. This is what brought my attention to W2V a couple of years ago when I participated in the pre ipo which was at 16 cents. Due to covid the IPO was delayed. I thought the technology was brilliant and still do. I wasn't the only one. Allium were big investors and they had completed significant DD before they invested. Unfortunately in the cash grab by the company they took Regal as a big investor. The whole premise of this particular Regal fund is to sell on IPO. They are a pre ipo/IPO fund. They don't care about the loss they have made as they take a portfolio approach so that any loss is offset against other profits from other IPO's.
Covid slowed the rollout significantly with borders shut. However during that time the technology was improved and new products developed. I took the opportunity in the last spike to sell out at 12 cents but I have been hoovering up in the 4's. No doubt a cap raise is coming soon but it appears to me the company is making significant progress and the shackles of covid are off now. A market cap of $7.5 mil appears pretty cheap to me and downside limited from here.
