So far I am getting no response from anyone about the possibiity of the directors opportunistically driving a hard bargain with BHP by viting down the deal.
The BHP final deal applies to the initial proposal.
If the share holders vote it down, we start from square one.
BHP will make another opening bid.
The UMC board may not be the sharpest bunch, but they sure can be greedy.
