Yeah, you're onto it. The big funds have to manage a balanced portfolio and as stock rise or fall of course it puts them out of balance. Therefore they get together and swap between each other to balance things out without effecting the SP.
No, unfortunately it's not a bullish indication but not bearish either. Just business as usual.
