Now that the results are in and we got Resolutions 6 & 8 carried, its time recognise the massive effort away from Hotcopper that's gone into achieving this result.

Yeah, we garnered 135 million votes on HC but in total there were about 400-430 million votes overall in favour of the interest of Aussie shareholders. Those votes didn't happen by accident.

Remember that the hurdle to overcome was 386 million held by Jigao, so it was no sure thing right up to the end. I reckon it wasn't until they saw the pre-poll and proxy votes that had landed that Jigao decided to vote for Resolutions 6 & 8. Without that they would have voted against. And had any one of those involved in this campaign not done what they did then TON would still be directionless and deadlocked.

There was an unrelenting telephone campaign to find votes in all sorts of places throughout Australia as well as overseas by a slew of people off HC who shall go unnamed. They know who they are and they deserve the thanks of us shareholders.

The key takeaway from this from a shareholder perspective is that we have a management team that is committed to the future of TON and realising the value that is inherent in it.
