Ann: Trading Halt, page-36

I am totally wrong and deeply apologise to all on this thread.

I normally read the TH announcements on a PC but read this one on an Iphone. I somehow missed the 2nd page which also happens to give the clue as to the reason for the TH....which in this case states...

The Directors of Challenger Exploration Limited (ASX Code: CEL) hereby request a trading halt of the Company’s securities pending the release to the market of a material announcement in relation to a Mineral Resource Estimate at the Hualilan Gold Project in Argentina.

My bad. Sorry. I actually thought it strange that there was no clue to the reason supplied for the TH.

I now wonder whether should also apologise for thinking that CEL has similar "leaks" to other stocks. The answer to the clue will be in the announcement. My guess is that it will be perceived by the market as just another fizzer. Hopefully wrong as I have plenty of skin in the game....just going off past share price performance.
