A metric that is sometimes used to see the quality of Au deposits is Ounces per vertical metre.

I don't know much about this so would be good if someone else is willing to add some ideas.

For the potential open pit portion of Minyari Dome 'deposits:

Using numbers from the recent MRE and assuming the calculation is simply ounces divided by potential open pit depth.

Minyari probably makes the grade on this metric. Waca probably wouldn't on its own but as a simple add on to Minyari is likely to make it.
The others probably wouldn't be worth going to the full depth unless there is more discovered?

I had been musing about this metric and then lo and behold DEG put out a new MRE with figures that can be used for some comparison.

Minyari stacks up reasonably well by this measure but more, and larger associated deposits would help.

If it is any consolation the SP movements for both these companies has been sideways - IMO - for the last six months or so. Albeit with a high differential in the SP. 25% resource increase gave <5% SP increase. AZY did a bit better...then followed the usual pattern.

IMO (and others on HC) good fundamentals for both but something needs to change for both, and many others on the exploration to development front. No idea what that something would be.
