we've had this subject discussed enough times to demonstrate that there are many who cannot be covered adequately by merely citing the polarising inanity of "personal responsibility". our chum @KangaSun is an excellent example of one who took responsibility and carried as much weight of that burden as he could manage and still found his preparations were insufficient to meet the needs of insurance coverage.
no-one expects to be given a new house, garage and Maserati.... just enough help from gov as Promised by the PM. - enough to keep the head dry and the security of a place to sleep while rebuild their lives.
