there will always be entries and exists patience finds them

I underestimate their power, persistence and their resolve ?

    Or they overestimate their power?

What fails eventually is the political resolve, even with all their bail outs the debt is moving from corporate hands to the governments hands, the individual private debt stays loaded on the shoulders of the citizen, the people get to carry it both ways, in systemic terms this undermines the resolve of the peoples representatives to keep siphoning money to the corporations that lobby for it.

I argue the resolve is already to little to late, they also needeto forgive the private citizens debts before demand returns if they wanted reflation to take hold, they are about 20 trillion short for this purpose, when it happens globally at the same time it overwhelms the stimulus which barely gets everyones heads above water before it takes the economy under again. Most debt is impossible to inflate away, all short term revolving debt for instance grows with inflation . sure you might be able to send some money up into the speculation end of the economy but that money doesn't filter down into the rest of the economy it tends to get hoarded by the wealthy, so certain prices go up but the underlying main stream economy never gets it and the higher prices tends to push down on main stream economy making things worse not better.

There are dozens of well documented monetary challenges Bernanke's measures dont address. How you inflate wages is one of them, the major thing to concentrate on when talking about easing is monetary transmission (who do you transmit the easing too). If business are going bankrupt easing cant raise wages, if credits not available folks need to sell assets to pay debt.

Think of it like a really good firer fighter not getting to the heart of the fire, they certainly put fires out but they never tame the beast and eventually the water runs out.
