The media were saying on Thursday that enrolments of Indian students in Aust has dropped by over 40% since July of last year.
Perhaps this is a consequence of violent incidences earlier in 09 in Harris Park in Sydney & Melbourne's western suburbs or perhaps it is a normal seasonal variation, I suspect that most enrolments will be at the beginning of the academic year.

One report said that Indian students are preferring to study in Canada. Navitas is developing & has courses and affiliations with Canadian Universities. Navitas actively recruits students in India & I don't think they aer going to miss out on too much if there is a change of sentiment from Aust to Canada.

I suspect the Indian media is getting alot of mileage out of being able to call Australians derogatory names.

Did we win the last cricket test or did they? Are they sore at us for what has happened during contests of their national obcession?

Their bowlers always serve up alot of "spin".
