    Some folk due to decisions they've made find themselves unable to feed their children. It's disgraceful, i agree. If they can't afford insurance premiums then they probably should sell their home as they certainly can't afford the risk of not being insured ... but this is the same whether their home is destroyed by a bushfire or an electrical fire in the city, why should the govt step in and help one family and not the other? And if the govt will step in and help anyone who is stupid enough not to be insured, why will anyone pay for insurance?

    You seem to have a lack of ability to think about things from a bigger picture
