Well what I am saying is that WPL paid out 80% of earnings as dividends
The $1 billion cash represents the profit from 1 July to now less the 800million for the dividend.
If they made 1 billion in the first half 80% would be the 800 million that was given back.
Therefore 800 million would be the profit to date for the second half.
I was expecting 300 odd million for the first half and over 1 Billion in cash for the second half to date tbh
But I am happy to wait til the profit and quarterly announcement
I am happy with the deal and have done very well following what you and aceboy and others have said over the time
