Nearlydun, I was merely challenging you based on what you have said. Did I miss the essence of your post? It was undoubtedly couched in negative sentiment and the narrative fell well short of challenging because it was not fully justified. Is that full and frank enough?
Look in the mirror buddy. You hold the stock, yet before I commented, you bagged other posters ("Don't need quotes and cliches neither"), who may find it easier to express themselves with the use of cliches etc as reminders. That's their right and you have not considered potential investors who actually build on price. Where is your business acumen, seeing you state you are in business?
You also said, "LTH don't need reminding of what's on offer here." They might not, and many are not long term holders, but some LTH may need reassurance in tough times going by their comments on posts with more analysis than what you offered. It seems your knowledge of the types of traders and their mindset is lacking because the market has traders such as day traders, short term traders that add to the market substance and particularly new traders who may be searching for an overview which they are unaware existed or who have not researched thoroughly that is brought to their attention. "It's all been said and done" is sometimes harder to find than you think, and kept in perspective.
So who is being judgmental?
You also said in an earlier post, "Plenty of cliches but nothing beats market psychology and sentiment and that's often driven by both great and poor" communication. Practice what you preach.
Then you went on to say, "In my opinion, Need action and results. A plan. Positive spins on SP action is fine but zoom out and it's underperforming on potential. We all realise it's potential but it's time to start realising it surely? Here's a chart to justify "slide".
Now what effect would the above statement have on the sentiment of potential buyers when you say the company is underperforming on potential without qualifying it and make reference to needing action, results and a plan? Who is all, in light of prospective investors? This is dismissive of where the gains have come from, recent past action and plans still in play and does not qualify those actions and events beyond company control as has beset many other companies, yet SPQ is well and truly in the hunt and undervalued based on metrics discovered to date. Then as a businessman you claim to be you could have demonstrated more initiative and made positive suggestions to overcome contingencies by contacting management, given you contacted them before and maybe gained some insight into current operations. That would not be too hard would it?
Then you put up a chart that lacked any real analysis, particularly with regard to volume which tells a different story at this point in time which is very useful for assessing the risk and reward.
If you believed in the stock long term as you have said, why would you encourage customers to go elsewhere? Or was there another agenda for spillage into a bag?
You state that HC is a glorified chatroom, yet you just might be surprised at the backgrounds of many who contribute regularly in an analytical way who have done the hard yards. Particularly with regards to net gain or net loss placed in the proper context. You can learn from everybody and everything. I took criticism in my younger days as an opportunity for growth and am the first to admit a mistake.
No financial advice was intended, but understanding a thinking style could improve objectivity to understand others who may think differently to you.
