    Could you please provide some links to the evidence that something climate-related happened in the Bronze Age? A scientific paper? Even a newspaper report?

    Sorry, but you just saying it has happened is inadequate.

    I don't think anyone is saying that there were not variations in the earth's average temperature in the past. This diagram, for example shows that 20,000 years ago, the average temp was -4°. Over the ensuing millennia, it has gone up almost as far as 1°, at least partially attributable to variations in the earth's orbit. By the Bronze Age it was actually going down and was as low as -0.5° by the 1600s.

    But then you get to the Industrial Revolution in the 1800s and by 2016 the temp was higher than it had ever been in the history of the earth. Given that we have done nothing about it, the optimistic scenario is looking doubtful, and the "current path" looks like where we will be going. This is exponential growth, as we all learned about from Covid.
