Hi Mast et al
I rather like your last posting and agree with the synchronicity thing etc. As I have said before, I had an awesome loss on BMN, but bought back into it - again I am sitting on a loss, but am fully informed on BMN and believe ('believe' - that infamous word!!) that BMN will recover AND I take responsibility for my own actions - I put the money in, I suffered a loss, and I pressed the SELL or BUY button.
My concern at the moment is that BMN is now vulnerable to a take-over, as I don't know if anyone has a blocking stake in this company (and would appreciate info on that score).
However, as a bit of an amateur student of human behaviour: what I find interesting on this thread and many others on H.C. is that there are always 'lead-posters' who put in the hard research, post it and then get a 'groupie' following. There seems to be a sub-group of lieutenants who support the lead poster(s) and they also have substantial holdings, and then there is the general populace which comes and goes, follows or snipes at the main posters. If there is manipulation going on I feel the only ones to blame are the 'followers' who are too lazy, or unable to do their own analysis. However with BMN, the general class of the posts and investor seems to be a little more informed than is generally the case on H.C. with some awesome research being posted. This fact alone hints at BMN being a good subject.
There is a group dynamic here which is almost a copy of real-life human behaviour, except there is money involved and anonymity. The money angle is the painful one, the anonymity helps manipulation (if any) but, here, again I say, if you can't bear the pain, get out and invest your money in real estate or an interest-bearing deposit.
I am here to invest, but have also realised there is a price to pay for any learning experience, so I am also here to learn and: NO WAY am I going to waste this precious experience and just slink off and leave this fascinating world of the stockmarket.
Happy New Year and good learning to all
