Well the Lib's promised a Gas Fired recovery, they just didn't get it moving fast enough!?
Gas shortages have been known to be coming to Victoria for some years - what will come out of Labours action OR inaction? Appears they are on the case:
How is Labour going to manage this & how quickly will we KNOW how they will proceed? While Australia can migrate to renewables perhaps a lot sooner than many other countries with favourable climate & land availability, the demand for export will likely remain for many a decade!?
I've heard some councils are mandating "No Gas" for new developments, I've also heard that the electricity grid will need serious upgrading to ensure people get electricity as they migrate from gas. All in All, there's going to be a massive infrastructure cost/impost that will need to be managed! Will the Govt. pick up the tab? OR will we all share the pain?
We need to know what Labours approach is to fossil fuels in some detail. There will need to be a fine balance between renewable migration & ensuring their finances are under control!
