    I keep thinking about this interview, and these were a few of my highlights.
    Framing a 30% improvement in terms of adding to a car manufacturer's bottom line - ie if they can save $150 per vehicle that equates for 10% of profit margin per vehicle for some auto makers. It was a throwaway figure but a good way to explain this aspect.
    And 30% capacity also means less of other critical mineral inputs.
    Potential 10 minutes to fully recharge with this tech.
    A continuous road map to further improvements adding more silicon.
    5 years head start on this journey using HPA. This is akin to a Tesla advantage.
    Low cost CAPEX, drop in production equipment to existing lines.
    The ATC AG team. A lot of everything, the SMS board member really important - their industry reputation & network all first class.
    Saxony a key location accessibility to auto industry in Europe
    The Silicon supply constraint comment a throwaway but I found it interesting there was little concern about supply - Uwe mentioned it's just mineral sand - 99.99% he said after this which I took to mean purity & I know that Deutsche Balaton are invested in a number of advanced SiO2 production facilities all around Oz. All low Fe content.
    The patent protection comment was interesting in that replicating their process even if they protect with a patent is not going to be easy at all. He was not worried about IP even though a requirement for some financiers.
    I don't know much about this except than to say that of IP borrowed without attribution which I've been told of in industry, it's because the other party had all the final shop working plans/drawings. So I kind of understand this comment.

    Not sure what I expected Uwe to be like but it was down to Earth, no bullsh!t & definitely confidence of what they've done & where they are going with Silumina.

    Seguewaying into a couple of other recent random items of late including Jeff Dahn & Tesla talking up a 100 year battery which is Nickel Cobalt Alumina 5:3:2 as opposed to LFP.

    And someone pointing out mobile battery cost & capacity at 60+kwh blitzes Teslas $10k plus home powerwall with 10kwh or thereabouts.
    although Uwe did mention sodium batteries as a great technology, low cost, density would mean more likely a home battery solution, not mobility.

    I think this needs a 2nd viewing as I watched this at work & suspect there are a few other gems I probably missed.
