Yes I agree that BL's credibility is left somewhat ' wanting ' after the whole miscommunicated integrated DFS v the separate NAL PFS which was delivered .
Not so sure of the ' Who ' has called for his head though and think that that is a bit over the Top as an exaggeration. Was it me releasing some pent up frustration in a single post contribution. Wouldn't be surprised. But definitely not 50 to 100 posts on the subject.......
And YES I agree that a BOD should be held to account for its ' missteps ' and inaccuracies. And that is why I called PC out on the Half Year Accounts and Cashflow statement stuff ups and barely got 2 likes for doing it. Then magically weeks later when it suited everyone on the Forum , it became an issue.......
And do I think that the use of social media and its various outlets is the most appropriate medium for a company's PR and wider promotions. Well again , it does seem to work for some when they want it to ......and then other times it becomes undecided when those same people deem it inappropriate. I personally think that it oversteps the line on the definitions of ' Market Sensitive ' and can leave the door open to wrongly interpreted speculations. So the Jury is still out on how disallowed Authorities wish to deal with this sort of crap.
But it is what it is really - And I don't think it really satisfies this pointed definition of ' Ivory Tower ' because a.) I don;t think they are secluding themselves from the realities of the facts or practicalities of the ' Real World ' anymore than any other LARGE company who is growing its operation in TWO separate mining jurisdictions - And 4 jurisdictions if you then add the separate Political influencers and the ASX separate compliance requirements. And b.) they are managing their situation and the transition across these jurisdictions at a speed which would commensurate with the current minimal resources available to deal with any number of the 27,000 shareholders who might have concerns from its GROWING share register.
And I've been around this Industry of Investing long enough to know that there are many Companies out there if not most of them who wouldn't have the time to return this inflow of questions.....and so wouldn't .
Doesn't mean they are on the ' Take ' or ' Corrupt ' . It simply means they have other day to day priorities until they can meet these shareholders requirements with the adequate priority of added resources.
But do I think that BL and the BOD are doing and executing this so-called ' Strategy ' ..." On Purpose " , and with malicious intent by " ruthlessly " not caring about anyone else but themselves - ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Because this again is a way out there exaggeration to suggest that they themselves are effectively ' designing ' a strategy ' purposefully ' and not because of ' oversights ' and failings of the process itself due lack of resources , miscommunications from Consultants.....etc.... to set about effectively destroying their OWN capital in the process.
I mean think about it. BL has effectively lost $24,669,822 on his existing holdings alone in the fall from 37 cents to 17 cents. And this doesn't even allow for the additional $9,031,976 he effectively looses on just his combined OD's and OC options should he ALSO decided to convert them BOTH ( as did Paul ) in the next few weeks for another $1,048,547 out of his own pocket when he has lost so much on paper.
So yeah I'm going to disagree with this notion that they ' Designed ' this whole miscommunication this way so they ( he ) themselves could lose over $33 million on paper due the retracement of the SP.
I'm also going to disagree with this suggestion that there are NO INSTITUTIONAL interest in our register because the ones we've had there have been ' sticky ' in their own right since as far back as 2013 before we were ever in the business of Lithium.
And I reckon that speaks volumes for those CORE BOD members who founded not only Sayona's Interests in Lithium but also the early ORICOBRE , AJM , Lithium Royalties Corp and others........
So some of these ' Insto's ' like BNP and others have been around for a very long time and I guess that shows they DON'T share the same view as some are suggesting on this forum.
So as a result of all this ......do I then think there is something ' Sinister ' in play simply because a Republic Promotions executive is seen at a sporting event with a Sayona Cap on in a social media pic ...... Absolutely NOT
What I think is more the case going on here , and If I could again use the Ice Hockey sporting analogy is that sometimes it doesn't matter what you do or how good you play , the puck is just going to find its way into your net for an opposing team's score or win.
Just look at Game 3. with the Edmonton Oilers against the Colorado Avalanche in the other Stanley Cup semi final in the Western Conference.
Some would say it was a must Win after losing the first 2 of the 7 game series at Colorado.
So they are back on Home Ice and are still going with their Olympic Gold medal Goalie Mike Smith between the pipes. So lets refer Mike Smith as Brett Lynch .... as the LAST man in defense and who's purpose is to keep you in the game and block as many shots as possible , often playing the game of your life .....just to give the team in front of you the best opportunity for a Win.
But we know that as in sport as in business , it doesn't always go to plan with your strategy and often your effort or even your ' Luck ' .
So in Game 3 Mike Smith was playing incredible really. Demonstrating his ' OLD SCHOOL ' athletics and acrobatic skills in the net ......often looking extremely ' awkward ' at times . But he had stopped 39 of 42 shots by the opposition and had his Oilers positioned quite nicely in the second period drawn at 2 goals apiece with Colorado.
And you can see what I'm talking about with his ' sprawling ' and awkward save in the second which kept them level......and then this was followed by this amazing ' stacker ' pad save which would have been a certain go ahead and winning goal for Colorado.
So in the end , it appeared that Edmonton in the third period had the wood on Colorado given their fervent commanding state of play which culminated in them missing a certain goal attempt by their star player Connor McDavid.
In fact , the difference in the end which resulted in the loss for Edmonton was the blistering missed shot which went off the right post of the Colorado Goal moments after McDavids missed opportunity .....only to deflect out to a contested breakaway for Colorado which resulted in a very ' soft ' and savable shot on Mike Smith making it 3 to 2 and which sealed the win for Colorado.
So the point here is that you ( Lynch ) can do everything humanly possible to a point in giving his Team the best opportunity to win ....and had Edmonton scored on that ' Poster ' , they probably would have.......Making Mike Smiths saves even more ' ledgendary ' . However now all that is going to be remembered is his ' Soft Goal ' allowed when he needed to make the save.
So that is him ( Lynch ) in a nutshell. He now has to stand up again and perform ...as he has done in the past to keep his Team in the game.....and instead of letting a very doable soft goal get past him.
But did Mike Smith do it on purpose .....Did he do enough from a Goaltenders point of view to get the Win ........Obviously NOT to both those questions . So in the analogy to Sayona - Did Lynch and his immediate BOD do and engineer this fall away in value on purpose . Absolutely not. It's just in the optics of how it looks now . Doesn't take away from the somewhat hidden benefits of the PFS of NAL which we ALL have to work through. But it's just a PFS ....and that is the real point here. It's NOT yet definitive.
But again , people speak of how ' EASY ' it is to downramp Sayona ....and that this is ALL about the poor ' Coms ' . Do you really think that that issue is sufficient to drive the Share Price down to levels valuing the drop to many hundreds of millions of dollars if not a $ Billion. I would think NOT.
I think it will be the FACTs tied to the actual comparative numbers of ' value ' and what the Goaltender ( Lynch ) will do next in terms of elevating his team and keeping them alive int he series. So will it be the conversion of his ' Options ' as well. Which are almost certain to take place in the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Will it be a combination of this with the release of more enticing Moblan results? Or will it also include the much anticipated PFS of Authier so we can all see the ' Changes ' and how they plan to proceed.
Irrespective of all these suppositions , the fact remains that he ( Lynch ) will also need his key members of his Team to lift as well. Because as we can see , it doesn't matter how good your Goaltender plays , you still have to get out in front of him and make your own opportunities ( with a little ) luck in putting that puck in the net at the other end of the ice.
