I use First Prudential Markets WebIress. It comes with a WebExcel interface so I can download ASX data, direct, intra-day, up to the minute.

The ASX data arrives in a particularly useless format, so I wrote a Perl script to do the data conversion to metastock format. I could have used an excel macro, but the perl script has more utility for me.

Everything uses metastock format, and FCharts and is one of the everythings which does so.

I am currently trying to get FP and Fcharts married so that I get a better direct interface rather than "download to spreadsheet and convert".
