Although my portfolio is already extremely heavy FFX I’m looking to buy more myself at these prices and cost average down back towards my first parcels.
It’s genuinely surprising how quick the narrative shifts - when I bought in not so long ago the lithium was seen as a detractor from the gold without any chance of taking off for all sorts of technical reasons. As I recall the general story from the critics was “sure this looks like a great gold mine but how are they going to fund the next steps and when will they give up on this lithium pipe dream?”
At that point the gold was still seen as a bargain at 40-50c a share with targets over $1 in the near-term and good possibility of returning hefty dividends provided the company could 1) focus on gold and 2) sort out the need for funding.
Both of those are now in far stronger positions, so for me 33c is an absolute steal.
