This is just becoming unbearable to watch.
I mean I'm a mega bear on Magellan but I really feel for the long holders.
I wish I could say there is an end in sight but the outflow backdrop continues to worsen. Advisers/insto/SMSFs/retail are all asking the same question: "Why should I pay Magellan 1.35% for underperformance when BlackRock charges 4 bps for better returns?"
The outperformance margin of their infrastructure fund (MICH) is sitting on a razor's edge as well, so if that tips over then you're going to see another big drop in these FUM numbers.
