Well this definitely isn't great news. I naturally assumed that this type of testwork, being critical, was already included in the DFS and its previous timeline. The high nitric acid recovery is literally what made this project economically viable in the first place, so I'm not sure why this was identified so late and the testwork wasn't already on the way.
Nothing we can do, I guess. At least I can say safely that the Dr is going to share our pain with this one. He will be missing out on 3m performance shares from the DFS and most likely 5m from the Approvals and FID with this new timeline.
The next 3 months are likely to be pretty dry on news and that's going to weigh on the SP. I'm now likely to get my final 200k top-up to 2m shares.
Let's be patient and see what happens. The project is the same and still amazing.
