IMO what we are seeing now with ALL players has always been in the plan . It’s now upto FT to take a stance but without explicit massive support from west then IMO, like NF, he had no alternative but to seek a compromised solution . if you don’t see the west stumping up billions within a legal framework (which we haven’t ) , FT needs pragmatic way forward as elections loom closer . The current dynamics and their gravity is no coincidental happenstance … IMO

This is key as the delaying tactics pursued by Zinjin IMO are in order to push this dispute out until next year's election in the hope they receive a more favourable regime. It may well be their only option for success short of a firm legal standing which they don't appear to have.
