Capital raise at 25c was a very good move at a time when the market conditions were good for a capital raise. Not great for those that participated in it but great for the business and great for anyone looking to pick up shares at the current lower price. Would not want to be looking to raise capital now in this current market.

It means ALC go into this period of rising interest rates with no debt and $20m in cash. They are also at the tipping point where cashflow is becoming positive so that is a great position to have in the current economic circumstances.

There will be another few weeks of tax loss selling which is the opportunity to find value around the market. Post 30 June it will be interested to see what happens with ALC.
