@NoBoDe - It was on TV recently and I have seen it. The movie is difficult to watch, but incredibly life-like - at least from the point of view of someone who has never had to live with anyone with a disability. I don't think this family would have harmonised quite so well in real life. Their abject poverty alone would make for constant conflict and there is only a little of this shown in the movie.
But it is a true story!!!
