There is no doubt that it almost impossible to know whether IGO or WSA will prove the better investment over the next 6 months, or even the next 2 or 5 years.
The both have the attraction of "relatively" low costs, and will both be able to endure any cyclical hardship (even if in WSA's case it could entail deferring capex if pear shapes return), and both have exciting exploration potential.
I will however be expecting another dividend from IGO very soon.
The next glory days for nickel might be another decade away, but there are still some pretty decent business models in the NiS patch. I guess it's why you still pay a $bn for a business like WSA.
