you probably consider any theortical discussion as overthinking.
heres another one for you then. consider the size of the kimberlite field at lulo and ask yourself whether its the result of a lower or upper mantle ploom.
i take it as lower mantle, so the chances that the majority of diamonds being converted to graphite is highly likely.
