Confuzed1, you are correct the west is in a massive inflation ATM .Mostly due to the sanctions. They have hardly never worked they always affect the least expected county rather than the one intended to hurt. Currently Europe is bearing the brunt of them..
Meanwhile Russia economy is going ahead strengthening every day.
2 good sources of general info would be Bloomberg online, or if you prefer video look for Jim Rickard's for the why the whole situation started. (you do have to wade through a lot of click bait using (parts of his talks)) As he is in great demand he is an American.
No I am not a Russia lover, I just like to deal with the truth.
